Out Now: Afternoon Destroyer

OK, fine I put the thing up because I know tapes are on the way. I hope you like it, I’m just happy everyone gets to hear it. And if I’m being honest, a little bit anxious. For 1.5 years, this thing’s been only mine to hear, overthink and fuss about.

There’s a tape version of the album that will be limited to 30 copies. I might put a couple copies in some local stores.

Though I personally enjoy playing shows, I have no plans to play these songs live. Between having to assemble a backing band and the fact that no one seems to wear a mask at a concert these days (and I’m immunocompromised), it doesn’t make any real sense for someone like me.

Honestly, I’m really happy goofing off at home, writing these songs—and I think you’ll hear that reflected back in the material.
