Interesting piece for a couple reasons:
- Discussion of color and their symbolic link to first-wave feminism.
- Lack of discussion regarding the power suit and its historical relationship to male-dominated corporate culture.
- Politics as fashion inspiration. Thank heavens for summer recess, otherwise we’d be seeing a lot of gladiator sandals. (BTW, who do those “shoes” look good on? Certainly not me.)
