For every douchenozzle who questions radio’s relevancy in 2010, I humbly submit WFMU as evidence to support the idea that radio still matters. Ditto for any other freeform station.
A worthwhile radio station isn’t about playing music listeners are going to like. Great radio stations keep people on their toes and surprise them each step along the way. (In fact, I am suspect of the station that constantly aims to please; they are not unlike a slutty college girl with low self-esteem, you know?)
