OTM. I could go on and on about this, but the worst part — and I mean, the part that really fucking slays me — is that I have to clearly explain the standards of an academic paper. I’m not talking about making sure there’s an introduction, conclusion, and so on, but common sense things, like asking my students to refrain from using profane language in their papers. Yes, I have to explain that swearing is unacceptable.
