I’m more excited for the Lee Ranaldo solo record than I’ve been for any Sonic Youth LP since I was 16 or 17. Can we please get Lee out on tour with J. Mascis for a White Haired Rock Dudes Tour?
Oh god, this Lee record is so good. I am going to warn everyone though: there are legit jam band hippies on this record (John Medeski!), which fills Sebastian with much glee. This record, even though it isn’t even out yet, has turned me onto Kathy Leisen’s other project, Glass Rock.
Is someone allowed to be this excited about a Sonic Youth solo record?
