programming notes
i played a little game with myself - to pull as few records as possible and see what i could come up with on the spot.
bucky of this radiant boy was my special guest in the studio, though he didnt appear on the air. the rest of TRB turned up later. brian howard and pat rapa were on the air next, so it was pretty much a big philadelphia party at the station.
the show was OK, what did you think? i stayed up until 4.30AM the night before. also, i was pretty surprised that i could speak, as i had lost my voice 2 days prior. its amazing what modern medicine can do. and lots of liquids.
singapore sling -i saw some favorable press about the band earlier in the week and decided to give the cd a spin. i never liked the drink and the band aint so great either.
philly rock
if there’s a band from philadelphia [sorry, pat benatar isnt from philly - you were thinking of joan jett, dear listener] that youd like to hear for next week’s show, drop me a comment. if i havent played your band yet, its probably because the station or myself doesnt have a copy of your disc.

I once saw a band open for David Kilgour at CBGB’s called Go to Blazes which mentioned numerous times that they were from Philadelphia. They didn’t necessarily impress me, but it might be fun to hear them again if you have a record of theirs. That’s if you are still doing the Philly hour thing next week.

ill probably keep doing it until philadelphia runs out of bands, which i doubt will happen.
